How do I place a bid?

Create an account, verify your ID, then click "Place Bid" on any auction listing. Enter an amount at or above the minimum bid and confirm. Your bid is immediately registered.

What is the minimum bid?

The minimum bid is set by the seller and shown clearly on the listing. Each subsequent bid must exceed the current highest bid.

Are bids binding?

Yes. All bids are binding and cannot be retracted once confirmed. Only bid if you intend to complete the purchase.

When does an auction end?

Each auction has a visible countdown timer. The listing page shows the exact end date and time. The highest bidder at expiry wins.

Buy Now

How does Buy Now work?

Click "Buy Now" on any fixed-price listing. Enter your delivery details, confirm the order, and a purchase agreement is automatically generated for you to sign.

Can I negotiate the Buy Now price?

The Buy Now price is fixed. For price questions, contact us before purchasing.

Agreements

What is a purchase agreement?

A legally binding document that records the terms of your vehicle purchase — price, buyer details, vehicle information, and signatures.

How do I sign my agreement?

Go to My Dashboard → Purchases, click the agreement, review the details, and click "Sign Agreement". Type your full name to apply your digital signature.

What if I don't sign in time?

Agreements expire after 48 hours. If you miss the deadline, contact us to reactivate your order.

Payments & Invoices

How do I pay?

After signing your agreement, download your invoice. It contains our routing and account number along with a unique reference number. Transfer the exact amount shown via wire transfer or ACH.

What if I miss the payment deadline?

Contact us immediately. Delayed payment may result in order cancellation and re-listing of the vehicle.

Delivery

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes. We arrange delivery across the continental US. Delivery to Hawaii and Alaska may involve additional costs.

Can I pick up the vehicle?

Yes. Visit us at 1234 Auto Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90001. Call ahead to schedule: +1 (800) 555-AUTO.

Account & Profile

How do I create an account?

Click "Register" and fill in your name, email, phone, and password. You can also add your shipping address to speed up future orders.

How do I update my profile?

Go to My Dashboard → Settings. Update your name, phone, password, or shipping address and click Save.

Identity Verification

Why do I need to verify?

Identity verification protects all parties involved in a vehicle transaction and is required by law in many states.

What documents are accepted?

Driver's license, passport, or any government-issued photo ID.

How long does review take?

1–2 business hours during Mon–Sat 9AM–7PM. You'll be notified once approved or if there's an issue.

Safety & Trust

How does AutoSales protect buyers?

All listings are reviewed before going live. We verify sellers and require identity verification for buyers. Digital agreements create a clear paper trail.

Is my personal data secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell your personal information to third parties.
